Way of the Social Media Hunter : Bloodhound Unchained

Not all prospects (or clients) are created equal. Ideally we all want those that are hyper-responsive, hang on your every word, preach your good name, and are an overall pleasure to work with. Not too much to ask, is it? The real question is, “How the heck do I attract these folks?”

At Bloodhound’s Unchained Social Media Conference, Brian Brady gave a session covering some of the aspects of how to go about “infiltrating” your online marketplace using social media guerrilla marketing tactics.

In this video I give a quick walk-through of his presentation and elaborate on some of the finer details of how to not just attract clients… but attract hyper-responsive clients.

You’ll also learn how to:

  • Become the leader of your market community using the “attractive character”
  • Use community conversations to build your own authority
  • Leverage the strategy of “graduating levels of intimacy” and it’s role in your online marketing

Click play and watch the 26 minute video (might wanna throw it into full-screen mode):

You didn’t miss a thing. I love that you expanded upon the media platforms to include market specific ones. Meetup provides for granular market platforms, at a local level- that might be one idea. Facebook groups, LinkedIN Groups, and MySpace groups could also work.

Don’t have a market specific social medium? Start one through NING.com

Excellent summary!

yeah, ning.com is a very cool service. they’ve come a long way, too.

if anyone’s up for really going deep i started checking out http://www.metromojo.com today. it’s the platform used to run http://www.louisvillemojo.com.

so, if you can’t find a community you’ve got the power to build your own… and be the mayor ;)

I recently created HomeGain Nation using Ning. Its definetely a good supplement to our blog as it requires less work and HomeGain members can interact directly with each other.
Will check out metromojo
