Larry Flynt, publisher of Hustler magazine, came out of left-field and took center-stage during the bank bailout brouhaha. He declared that the porn industry, like the banks, needed bailout money to keep operating.
Brilliant move to leverage the national conversation about the bailouts and bring his business into the main conversation.
Over the past week the largest conversation, at least in the tech world, has been about the Apple iPod. Heck, there’s a whole machine behind making this gizmo the main conversation. A smart guerrilla would make sure their business uses some of that noise to their own benefit…
