There’s not much that makes you feel more frustrated or your efforts more futile than realizing you just may need to start over.
“I did all that work for nothing?!”
The moan was most recently heard from a real estate blogger who realized he’d outgrown his Blogspot hosted blog and was ready to set up Wordpress on his own host.
First off, there’s that whole migration issue. You may or may not want to move all your content over to your new blog, that’s purely a personal decision. If you choose to do so, there’s plenty of help out there on Google.
The real rub comes from your old blog’s authority status and page rank. How the hell do you transfer that? Is there an easy button?
