You’re creating great content and it deserves some recognition. Folks (even those other than your spouse or mom) will help spread the word so long as you make it easy for them to do so.

To help you do this, I’ve listed below direct links to tools that will help you help your readers share your content with others.

Tools For Social Bookmarking

Digg Buttons

Digg is the granddaddy of social news sites that seems to favor geek, popculture, and political news. Tie your real estate article in with trending news in one of those topics and you can get some great traction and traffic.

Facebook Button

Facebook is a hotbed of social activity so it’d make sense to allow your readers to share your posts with their Facebook friends. Use the following code in your blog template.

<a href="http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php" onclick="javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview('/outbound/article/www.facebook.com'); window.open("http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=<?php echo get_permalink(id); ?>&#038;t='+encodeURIComponent(document.title), 'facebook','toolbar=no,width=700,height=400'); return false;">Share On Facebook</a>

Delicious Badges

Many of your visitors are on your blog to learn something which can often mean that they need to bookmark your post for later reference. Use the following Delicious tool so folks can save and share your post directly on Delicious (it can even show the tags and number of saves).

StumbleUpon Badges

Cool thing about StumbleUpon traffic is that it’s pretty consistent where other social sharing services tend to spike and drop-off. Use the StumbleUpon button to help your visitors stumble your posts so that others can stumble upon them.

All-in-on Tools

The following tools combine many of the most popular services into one widget for your blog. If your real estate content is broad in coverage and doesn’t fit into the context of one of the sites above, these are good tools for you.

Sociable

An easy-peasy plugin for Wordpress bloggers, Sociable allows you to configure which social sites are available in the widget.

ShareThis

Not only can visitors submit your stories to the major social sites, your visitors can also email and IM your content.

Share more content

Now, I don’t recommend you install badges for all of these sites Pick only the ones that make sense for your content and your readership.

The easier you make it for your readers to share your content, then the more times it’ll get shared. You work hard creating good content so take this step so that your content receives the recognition it deserves.
